The PKM (Pulemyot Kalashnikova Modernisirowanyj ) is a Russian machine gun that is used as a universal support weapon for use on vehicles and helicopters and as a heavy machine gun for the Russian army. The PKM has an enormous rate of fire with a high ammunition stock.
The very robust and detailed replica of A&K is made almost entirely of metal like the original. Only the pistol grip is made of robust nylon fiber.
The already installed MOSFET with microswitch and potentiometer enables a variable ROF, regardless of the battery used. With a cleverly hidden rotary control, the ROF can be continuously adjusted from 320 to 630 RPM using push buttons.
The magazine is electrically operated and its appearance is very close to the original . The case is made entirely of steel and houses up to 5,000 BBs with absolute security.
Since the box magazine is an electrical version with sound control , two AA batteries are required to operate the magazine (not included).
The shaft is made of high quality, robust nylon fiber . The massive bipod can be locked under the barrel. A special feature of the A&K PKM is the adjustable hop-up, which can be adjusted very quickly using the quick-release fastener under the upper housing cover.
Only the best components were used for the Gearbox. The reinforced special gearbox is designed for a long service life and has already been equipped with 8 mm ball bearings, reinforced gears, silent piston head, metal spring guide and an electrical switch unit.
In this configuration and in combination with the long 510 mm barrel, this AEG delivers a whopping 460fps out of the box.
The A&K PKM MG is supplied with the following accessories:
- Electrical 5,000 rounds of metal - Box magazine with sound control
- 8.4V NiMh rechargeable battery + charger (please only use for test purposes and preferably very quickly change to a 7.4V LiPo and a high-quality charger)
