Original British Forces issue Ops Panel for Mk4 Osprey Armor vest . The Ops Panel is designed to go over the front of the Osprey vest and cover the Velcro panel that holds the sides of the vest to the front.
The Ops Panel is only available in one size and is attached to the vest with two loops made of 25 mm MTP-printed webbing, which are inserted through the corresponding MOLLE loops on the base. The back of the panel is fully furnished with hook-and-loop Velcro to cover the loop side surfaces on the vest base.
The front of the panel is 21.5 cm high and 32 cm wide and is alternately provided with 25 mm MOLLE straps on the front for attaching bags. The front of the panel has 8 loops horizontally across 4 straps that are 25mm apart.
The Ops panel is a lighter alternative to the cummerbund as it doesn't add weight or material on either the sides or the front. The sides of the Ops panel can be fitted with 25 mm T-bar mounting kits with adjustable quick-release fasteners. Attaching them prevents the sides of the Ops panel from lifting when they are carrying a heavy load. All accessories shown are for display purposes only and are not included with the control panel.
