The Byrna SD (Self Defense) is a Co2 RAM pistol that comes in a practical kit. It is a very powerful, non-lethal self-defense weapon. The Byrna SD is intended for self-defense, training and leisure activities.
The kinetic energy of the fired projectile is 10 joules , and the impact energy of the projectile can be felt painfully even through thick clothing.
The Byrna SD is powered by an 8 gram CO2 capsule, which is sufficient for up to 20 shots and is located in a container under the barrel. The union nut of the container is tightened with an Allen pin integrated into the magazine. The Byrna SD model has a quick release system that means the CO2 capsule is no longer pierced once it is placed in the container. The capsule is only pierced automatically when the trigger is pulled for the first time .
The Byrna SD is powered by CO2 compressed air and fires kinetic and/or chemically irritating .68 caliber projectiles that can neutralize a threat from a distance of up to 20 meters.
The Byrna SD is equipped with a mechanical sight in the form of a front and rear sight. A double-sided safety prevents accidental firing. The profiled handle ensures stable positioning of the weapon in the hand when shooting. It is equipped with rubber pads with a non-slip honeycomb structure.
There is a RIS mounting rail under the barrel, which allows the SD to be equipped with additional accessories such as a flashlight or a laser target pointer.
