The Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 riflescope offers the benefits of a traditional riflescope but with the added advantages of a digital reticle .

The name HYPR-7 is an acronym that stands for Hybrid Precision Riflescope . The hybrid bit is a direct reference to the fusion of analog and digital , allowing you to achieve the best possible results. The shockproof housing is completely waterproof and nitrogen purged, meaning it is also fogproof.

The riflescope from Element Optics has a lens with a diameter of 50 mm and offers solid light transmission. The ED glass (extra-low diffusion) ensures a sharp image.

The Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 riflescope has a maximum magnification of seven times and an eye relief of 45 mm. The turret on the left side of the housing allows you to adjust the parallax from six yards to infinity, and the diopter ensures that you can focus clearly on the reticle.

As mentioned, the reticle is fully digital , which means you can choose between different reticles . It is even possible to draw your own reticle and transfer it to the riflescope.

All of this is possible with the Element Ballistics app , which you can install on your smartphone at no additional cost. Another feature is the timeout function, which turns the rifle scope off after a certain time to save power. With this function and a standard AAA battery (not included), it can easily operate for several days.

This is no small feat when you consider how many active systems are constantly communicating with the ballistic computer. Systems such as an inclinometer, a barometer, a thermometer and even a hygrometer. All of these systems are essential for calculating the most accurate trajectory of the shot .

Taking all this information into account, the digital reticle clearly displays the calculated point of impact. This is done either by a blinking dot or by simply moving the entire reticle.

There is a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail on the top of the riflescope to which a rangefinder can be mounted.

However, the Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 riflescope works best in conjunction with the Element Optics RF Ballistics Range Finder Module (see accessories)

The Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 riflescope comes with a Unimount mount that can be easily mounted on a Weaver/Picatinny rail. The Unimount has a slight curvature and the riflescope can be freely mounted on this curvature. This means that the riflescope is also well suited for long-range shooting. The Unimount has markings in MOA.
