In the eponymous fusion mode, a mixed image of thermal image and optical camera image is created in black and white , which emphasizes the advantages of both and offers increased recognition potential. Surrounding structures become visible in front of and around the thermal signature, which would have remained hidden in the pure thermal image and would have led to distortions when addressed.
In addition to the Fusion mode , the thermal image and camera image can also be controlled individually in order to maximize the functionality of the Fuzion TM50-640. The palettes available are black hot, white hot, red hot, spectral colors, optical and fusion.
They can be used to clearly distinguish the target from its surroundings, as well as to record tracks and sweat within a period of up to two minutes.
The image is reproduced on a high-contrast 0.4" OLED display (1024 x 768 px) with perfect black values. The additional hot spot marking including target tracking identifies the highest temperature range and displays it reliably. The digital zoom levels 2x, 4x and 8x allow a total of up to 16x magnification and thus enable the identification of distant objects.
The highly sensitive chip of the low-light camera records wavelengths in the 400 – 1000 nm range and is therefore suitable for additional image brightening in optical mode using common infrared lamps.
The TM35-640 offers a variety of display and recording options to capture what you see, analyze it or share it with others. As a WiFi hotspot, the image of the Fuzion can be displayed in real time from the device to smartphones connected via the app, recordings and snapshots can be made and remote device control is also possible. The Fuzion itself has 16 GB of memory, on which videos and snapshots can also be stored and transferred to PCs and laptops via the USB-C connection .
The robust polymer body with IP67 protection class and functionality at temperatures from -20°C to 55°C ensures maximum protection of the device. Thanks to the 1/4" thread, it can also be used in combination with a tripod.
Can be operated either with a replaceable 18650 battery (up to 5 hours if the WiFi hotspot is deactivated) or by using an external power supply (power bank, etc.).
