The CXP-HOG replica from the quality house ICS consists exclusively of the highest quality metal and polycarbonate polymer. The receiver, including the KeyMod handguard and stick tube, are made of metal , while the handle, shaft and flip-up sights are made of high-quality polymer.
The shaft can be adjusted in length in several positions and offers mounting points for QD slings . The ergonomic handle differs slightly from the standard design of the M4, but is extremely comfortable in the hand. The FlipUp Sights are pre-assembled and offer an excellent out of the box solution. However, the 22 mm Toprail provides enough space for the installation of a large number of optics.
The KeyMod Handguard allows the installation of a wide variety of compatible accessories such as tactical lamps, handles or RIS panels.
This replica has also been provided with a very authentic AR15 construction - typical for ICS. Like the original, the rifle can be easily opened and dismantled in two parts (Upper & Lower) . A spring release system is also pre-installed and is triggered simply by setting the fire selector lever to SAFE . This increases the service life of the spring and mechanics immensely.
In addition to the split construction, all components are reinforced and ideally suited for the high power of 410 fps out of the box.
The innovative construction requires proprietary parts, which makes the Gearbox compatible with current V2 standards to a limited extent. Standard V2 Shell, Nozzle and Tappet Plate, for example, do not fit. The rest of the gearbox can be fully upgraded with standard aftermarket parts!
