The Hawke Laser Range Finder series is designed to provide highly accurate distance measurements at the push of a button.
It has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand and allow easy access to the control buttons.
The Hawke Endurance LRF has optical elements with high transmittance and a high- contrast red OLED display . The result is a clearer view of the target than ever before.
The following measurement modes are possible: distance, rain, hunt, horizontal distance and angle measurement .
In standard mode , the straight line to the target is measured with an accuracy of 10 cm. If there is nothing in the mode display area (to the right or below the distance), the standard mode is selected.
By holding the POWER button in standard mode, the device continuously remeasures in order to constantly output the current distance even when there is movement.
In rain mode , the beeline to the target is given, ignoring interference from falling raindrops. The minimum target distance in this mode is 30m. When measuring in rain mode, the horizontal distance is also displayed on the lower distance display.
In hunting mode , the linear distance is measured, ignoring possible disruptive influences such as high growth or undergrowth. This makes it ideal for determining the distance of game running through the forest or tall grass.
Hunting mode is activated when the circle appears around the hunting mode icon. When measuring in hunt mode, the horizontal distance is also displayed on the lower distance display.
In HD mode, the horizontal distance to the target is measured. The straight line is shown in the upper distance display and the pure horizontal component is also shown in the lower distance display. This function is particularly useful for determining the exact bullet drop. When shooting airguns with a bulbous trajectory, or at steep angles in the mountains or from the hunting range, the HD mode provides a more suitable distance for reliably calculating the aiming point.
In Angle mode , the projection angle is measured to within a tenth of a degree. The straight line is shown in the upper distance display and the angle is also shown in the lower distance display. When measuring downhill, a minus sign is shown in front of the angle.
