The SA-E19 MK18 Edge from Specna Arms is mostly made of zinc and aluminum alloy and steel reinforcements in particularly stressed areas (screws, pins & sling mounts). The buttstock and pistol grip are made of durable polymer. Thanks to a special anodizing process, the receiver and RIS system are particularly well protected against corrosion. The powder coating is also extremely scratch-resistant and resistant to high loads. On the receiver you will find Daniel Defense Markings.
The gun comes with a reinforced version 2 Orion gearbox including the ESA quick spring change system , which allows the spring to be changed quickly without having to remove the gearbox. With this you can adapt the gun to all requirements and speeds quickly and without special tools
The AEG is designed for use with LiPo and LiFe batteries. The new Orion Gearbox, which can be tuned up to M140 , has steel gears and 8 mm ball bearings as well as many other high-quality tuning internals .
The rotating hop-up chamber is made of metal and seals the system first-class. The SA-E19 Edge achieves 380 fps out of the box. The set includes an M90 spring, which allows you to quickly and easily reduce the performance to 310 fps thanks to the ESA system.
The top rail is a 22mm RIS rail that offers space for all types of optics. The shaft is typically adjustable for this design.
On the outer barrel you will find a 14 mm left-hand thread for mounting other flash hiders or silencers. A functional bolt catch is also installed.
