The 30mm medium rifle scope mount Schmeisser SM30 for Weaver/Picatinny is specially designed to securely attach optics to a firearm. It has a diameter of 30mm and is compatible with Weaver and Picatinny rails . With its medium height, it offers an optimal balance between rifle scope height and cheek rest.
The Schmeisser Cantilever Mount can be attached to your AR-15 very quickly using the Quick-Detach (QD) mounting system , consisting of two QD levers .
It is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum (hard, corrosion-resistant, low coefficient of thermal expansion) with a matte black MIL-A8625F-Type III hard anodizing .
The two rings of the Schmeisser SM30 30mm Medium Weaver/Picatinny mount are quite wide to provide a large clamping surface. This reduces the risk of over-tightening, which could deform the scope tube. The mounting rings each have six clamping screws, which are numbered so that they can be tightened in the correct order. This also helps to prevent deformation of the tube.
The threaded holes on the top and both sides of the mounting rings are intended for mounting the included short Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail with two Torx screws.
