The arrows presented here differ mainly in their tips and weight. They are specifically designed for the Steambow AR-6 Stinger II and AR-10 crossbows .
Depending on the intended purpose, different tip shapes are used: hunting tips with sharp blades, bodkin and war arrows with historical blade shapes made of hardened tool steel and the CNC manufactured practice tips .
The draw weight, in turn, determines the arrow weight: the light arrows are ideal for draw weights of 35 to 75 lbs while the heavier arrows work well between 90 and 150 lbs .
Therefore, two product lines are offered for the AR series: the light arrows with a shaft made of pure carbon and the heavy arrows with a carbon/aluminum hybrid shaft .

- AR-Series – lightweight sports arrows
The lightweight sports arrows are ideal for limbs from 35 to 75 lbs and offer high arrow speed and a flat trajectory thanks to their low weight. They have a pure carbon shaft, a glued-in tip and a nock made of high-quality polymer.

- AR-Series – heavy sports arrows
The heavy sports arrows (identifiable by the additional stainless steel ring) are designed for stronger limbs (90 to 120 lbs). They have a high-quality aluminum nock and a carbon/aluminum hybrid shaft, i.e. there is an additional aluminum shaft inside the carbon shaft. This complex construction is responsible for the excellent flight characteristics and results in extremely robust arrows.

They have a high-quality aluminum nock and a carbon/aluminum hybrid shaft, i.e. there is an additional aluminum shaft inside the carbon shaft. This complex construction is responsible for the excellent flight characteristics and results in extremely robust arrows.
At almost 15 grams, these arrows are significantly heavier than most pistol crossbow arrows and have a particularly high impulse when they hit the target. Hard target media such as sheet metal or glass can therefore be penetrated more easily.

If the throwing arm weighs 90 lbs or more, the use of arrows weighing less than 10 grams (155 grains) will cause damage to the equipment.

This complex construction is responsible for the excellent flight characteristics and results in extremely robust arrows. At just over 15 grams, these arrows are significantly heavier and have a particularly high impulse when they hit the target. This impulse, in combination with the extremely sharp blade , makes these arrows very effective and suitable for hunting small and medium-sized game.

They have a high-quality aluminum nock and a carbon/aluminum hybrid shaft, i.e. there is an additional aluminum shaft inside the carbon shaft. This complex construction is responsible for the excellent flight characteristics and results in extremely robust arrows. At just over 16 grams, these arrows are extremely heavy. This means they have a particularly high impulse when hitting the target and achieve a high energy yield from the limb. This impulse, in combination with the sharp blade, makes these arrows very effective and extremely dangerous .
