Like most GBBs from Tokyo Marui, the 4.3 Desert Warrior is made of extremely high quality polymer . The magazine and operating elements (e.g. the safety lever) are made of metal . The handle and lock are made of the very resistant polymer. This model goes back to the legendary Colt 1911 by the ingenious engineer John Browning. Even though a large number of improvements have been developed over the decades, the basic system is still its groundbreaking design, which is now over 100 years old.
The handle shells have an anti-slip surface to increase ease of use and grip. The 22mm rail on the handle is standardized and can accommodate a variety of accessories such as tactical lamps and lasers.
As a GBB, this pistol naturally has a BlowBack mechanism . The slide moves with a violent jerk after each shot, which simulates realistic shooting behavior.
