The highly innovative SDL 800 flashlight - the new flagship of the Walther SDL series - was specially developed for police and military services. Thanks to Walther, however, it can now also be acquired on the civilian market.
The all-round package SDL 800 offers powerful 750 lumens , 2 adjustable brightness levels ( 750 and 75 lumens ), a Tactical Defense Strobe for glare and defense use and a UV black light bulb for forensic and military purposes.
UV light, also known as black light, is used by the police in forensics , serves to check banknotes or identity papers, and military and geocachers use it for hiding otherwise invisible marks .
The Walther SDL800 flashlight can be powered by the Multi Battery System (MBS) either with a 18650 battery, 2 x CR123A batteries or with 3 x AAA batteries.
